From my own viewpoint (and now being over 70) I sensed that I was suffering from some degree of age-related hearing loss. Having consulted Jo it was found that I was suffering from wax build-up in both ears – hardly surprising since I had never in my life ever had my ears syringed or irrigated! Jo de-waxed my ears in two very carefully conducted sessions followed by a third session to actually do a hearing test. It turns out that there still is some age-related loss but Jo will now monitor this once a year until the loss gets serious enough to warrant digital hearing aids of my own.
